Our Mission: To bring God's love to people and to bring people to God's love.
Matthew 28:18-20—“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
“To bring God’s love to people”—We realize that in order to fulfill this mission we can’t rely on ourselves; we must rely on God’s love. Jesus Christ offered genuine hope and love in a world that was full of both physical and spiritual sickness. And this love showed in his teaching, his healing, and his serving.
“To bring people to God’s love”—We are called to make disciples of all men, women, and children so we must do everything we can to bring people to the realization that they need a relationship with Jesus. When the disciple Andrew first heard from John the Baptist that Jesus was the Son of God (John 1:34) he immediately went and found his brother Simon and told him, “’we have found the Messiah.’ And he brought him to Jesus.” (John 1:41-42) We are to do the same.
Our Vision:“To be a church that connects the men, women, and children of Terrace Heights and East Valley to a relationship with Christ through small groups, outreach events, relationship building, and doing life together.”
We hope to see an ever-increasing amount of people come to know Christ (become a disciple), and in turn, we want these new disciples to be able to make more disciples. Our vision is to make this happen through emphasizing relationships, small groups, ministry outreach events, and being the family that God intends for us to be.
